Honey Glazed Belly Pork with apple sauce

Yesterday I morning I decided to spend a little time adjusting the fitting of the HPS crash protectors I fiited (badly) on Tuesday night. A handfull of washers and some patience sorted the problem and I was finished. Limby and Dean popped into the garage during the morning and Dean reminded us that there was some bike racing at Thruxton. I threw the panels back on the bike and rode out there with Dean on his gixxer. Good racing and a long stroll around the paddock was a good way to spend the afternoon.

This morning was the first time since last winter I have put on my thermal undercrackers before going for a ride, it was cold. A nice early blast around Highclere/Kingsclere blew the cobwebs away and the undercrackers and heated grips made it comfortable. The afternoon was spent riding down to Southampton with Limby for a coffee and the ride back through Romsey/Winchester/Stockbridge was a good route and the quick blast in the warm and dry autumn sun hopefully won't be the last before winte sets in.

Spotting Dot and Jess stood at a bus stop in Winchester was freaky and made freakier due to the fact that usually I wouldn't have noticed them but the slow traffic forced us to spot a few metres from them.

I'm going to try to update this page with my biking exploits more regulary. I need to remember the good riding days through the long, cold, wet winter I'm expecting we have ahead of us.
