Bored...............

I'm sat here at work bored out of my skull. The day has been filled mainly by the following:

• 50% internet time wasting
• 20% Chatting with other bored office workers (online/directly)
• 20% Sorting out a way of tracking my money in 2007, Cheers DDot (new years resolution)
• 5% Online shopping
• 4% Working
• 1% Toilet breaks

Could my life get any more thrilling?

I suppose I could treat the above list a productive use of my time. Half my time was spent doing something that needed doing and the other half was spent discovering new ways of killing time. (writing this is included in that 50%). Oh and 4 1/2 minutes taking a leak.

The most shocking piece of information I was given today is that Network Rail will charge you £105 to get a ticket from Andover to York, an estimated 5 1/2 hour journey. This goes down to about £60 if you book in advance. I estimate I could do this journey with £18 fuel (if I was having a heavy throttle day) and I could do it in about 4 1/2 hours. How will the general public ever be convinced to regularly leave the motors at home and take public transport !
